It’s no secret that society places a lot of pressure on people. Whether it’s the need to have a successful career, maintain a perfect appearance, or be part of the “in” crowd, there are a lot of expectations to live up to. And for many people, these pressures can be extremely frustrating and overwhelming. It’s important to remember that you’re not alone. Lots of people feel the same way. The key is to not let these frustrations get the best of you. Don’t let society win. Instead, focus on your own happiness and well-being. Find things that make you happy and treasure them. Surround yourself with positive people who will support you. And most importantly, don’t forget to love yourself!
Elise Hayes’s new single, Real, is a lighthearted reminder to put your phone down and value human connection. It’s about the simple things in life that we often take for granted, like being able to have a conversation with a friend without looking at our phones the whole time. It would be great if we took a step back and just enjoyed each other’s company. Therefore, you should no longer hide your emotions and just go with the flow. It isn’t always necessary to think about society.
