The people who know you best are the ones who understand you in a way that no one else can. They know your habits, your strengths, and your imperfections. They know what makes you happy and what stresses you out. They are the ones who make you feel comfortable and make you laugh until your stomach hurts. Spending your life with them is the ultimate goal—and it’s definitely something to aspire to.
Lindsey Lomis’ latest single die with my friends is a bittersweet ode to all of the high school endings and new beginnings. The 19-year-old singer explains that the song isn’t about wanting to die, but wanting to be with the people that matter to you. Lomis wrote it as her friends were leaving for college, not knowing whether they would meet again.
From supporting some big names in music to honing her own performance chops, Lomis has been busy this past few months. Keep an eye out for more from her later this year – it’s gonna be awesome!
