We often take for granted the interactions we have with others. They can be so common and ordinary that we forget how special they are. In her new single, The Other Side, singer-songwriter Meredith Lazowski reflects on the moments that we usually brush off and hardly give a second thought. She describes the beauty in those everyday occurrences and how they make us who we are. We should all take a step back and appreciate the people in our lives.
The Other Side includes an infectious bluesy electric guitar riff and a boot-stompin’ drum beat. Lazowski’s vocals help define the sound of the piece, giving it an extra dash of charm. Foregoing electronic production in favor of a more organic feel is a welcome change.
