Drink To Make Me Blind by BAR is a powerful exploration of the emotions someone may go through after being cheated on. The lyrics touch on the feeling of wanting to numb the pain, of being lost and alone, and of being consumed by bitterness. It feels like your entire world has been turned upside down. Everything you thought was true is now being questioned and you feel like you can’t trust anyone.
Zèra’s latest track, Impress Me, depicts the mindset of anyone who’s ever been in love with someone who’s bad for them. It’s the story of giving in to that attraction one last time, even though you know it’s not going to work out. You can hear the resignation in Zèra’s voice as she sings about letting go of the past.
