Singer/songwriter Lindsay Clark based her new single, Better Way, on a personal experience. Some time ago, she met someone in the music scene and fell in love with him. Even though the relationship started off well, it became strained, confusing, and manipulative pretty quickly. Lindsay was hurt a lot by the other person, which made her think about the future.
It’s clear that this experience has shaped Lindsay as an person. In the song, she reflects on the lessons she learned from this relationship and shares them with those who may be going through a difficult time. She wants to remind people that there’s always a better way and that they aren’t alone.
