Abby Sage’s new single, Pool Party, is about the challenges that young adults experience today. The lyrics perfectly capture the feeling of having to put on a brave face and pretending to be happy when, in reality, you’re just trying to make it through the day.
It’s easy to believe that you’re the only one in this situation, but Sage’s song reminds you that you’re not alone. We all feel like we’re putting on a show sometimes—and that’s okay.
Overall, the production on this song is excellent. There are lots of sonic layers going on, but they all work together to create a cohesive and powerful final product. If you’re into alt-pop or just good music in general, you’ll definitely want to check out this track!
