annelieElina’s latest single, last july, talks about a group of friends she used to hang out with. Even though their lives have taken them in different directions, the singer-songwriter still thinks of them.
The song is so relatable because it captures those bittersweet feelings we all get when we think about our old friends. We remember the good times we spent with them and the fun activities we did together. But inevitably, time moves on and people change. When we realize that, we can’t help but feel a little sad.
annelieElina’s vocal performance is absolutely stunning. She manages to pack an incredible amount of emotion into every line, without ever sounding forced or over-the-top.
