You know that feeling. You’re cruising along, doing just fine, and then all of the sudden you’re in the thick of it again. You’ve fallen into the same old pattern, and you can’t seem to break free no matter how hard you try.
Marci’s new single, Pass Time, is about recognizing the cycle you’ve put yourself in, and finding a way out. It urges us to take that first step towards change, even when it feels so impossible. Because when you finally do break free, it’s so worth it.
The vocals here sound natural and not heavily edited. The song’s dreamy arrangement combines pop and jazz elements in a way that makes you feel serene. There’s certainly some complexity to it, but it never becomes difficult to follow its structure.
