Alyria & Bixxi’s new single, Running, illustrates the fact that the mind is capable of taking a simple feeling or thought and making it into something much more complicated than it really is. It’s something that we can all relate to, as we’ve all been in a relationship where the mind has played tricks on us, making us believe things that may not be true.
Once you’re deeply in love, even the smallest things cause you worry. For example, if your partner doesn’t pick up the phone when you call. You start to think about all the possible reasons why they ignored you, and before you know it, you’ve created a whole scenario in our head that’s based on nothing but speculation.
Running is richly textured and features an eclectic spectrum of sounds. The soulful vocals flow harmoniously over the R&B-inspired pop production, creating an enthralling listening experience.
