Harrison Young’s debut single, Surreal, paints a dreamlike picture of what it’s like to be in love with someone perfect. It’s like they’re from another world, and they’re meant for you. You can feel the longing and desire in the lyrics, as Harrison asks this otherworldly person to get closer to him.
The production of Surreal is layered and nuanced, with each sound adding to the overall impact. Harrison has a really impressive voice that he manages to control really well. He doesn’t seem to have any trouble hitting the high notes. Harrison sings softly in some parts and loudly in others, which helps to create a varied and interesting vocal texture.
