The song starts with a single, fragile melody that’s gradually layered with warm harmonies. These harmonies embrace each verse with new strength. Sanyu’s emotive voice will hypnotize listeners and pull at their heartstrings. The last chorus consists of acknowledgments as much as it does of questions, culminating in a song which is both hopeful and reflective.
