With her debut single, Fade out of You, Canadian singer-songwriter BlkBird entered the music scene six months ago. In the beginning, the instrumentation might seem slow, but as it develops, it becomes more and more upbeat. I enjoy listening to the vocals because they’ve a certain flair you can’t find anywhere else.
Fade out of You reveals the struggle of being in a tumultuous relationship, and touches upon the hurt that comes with the process of getting together and separating, as well as the eagerness and anticipation of attempting to make it work.
