Spanish artist ROSALÍA constantly challenges the boundaries of what’s possible in music. With LLYLM, her new single, she mixes experimental pop production with traditional flamenco influences. Perhaps its coolest section is the bridge, where the vocals are able to shine brighter than the sun.
The song revolves around the desire to be in a relationship that isn’t realistic. It contains many memorable lines, such as: ”Baby, lie like you love me, lie like you love me” and ”Maybe at the end, it becomes real enough for me”.
LLYLM already feels timeless. There’s nothing ordinary about it. ROSALÍA is totally in her element here.
