LA-based pop artist Serena Foster always strives for excellence in her work. She recently released an excellent rendition of Nancy Sinatra’s classic, These Boots Are Made For Walkin’. It has dark undertones and sounds cinematic. The melodies here are particularly appealing to me, because they flow so smoothly.
Kate B of Starglow Productions directed the music video for These Boots Are Made For Walkin’. The visuals take direct influence from James Bond, and highlight the negativity that women often face in society. Kate and Serena urge you not to let it discourage you.
