Ladies is the fourth release by The X Collective, and the second by its members Zapho and Chloë Agnew after their groove-stomping debut, WB, which made waves in the Irish pop scene last April. The song has driving beats and catchy synth hooks, giving it an energetic and appealing sound. I think the vocals are incredible, as they carry such a sincere tone.
The song represents the connection between women, often an instantaneous bond similar to the one found in a nightclub’s ladies room. This bond is based on supporting each other and finding a mutual source of strength and determination.
