Rising artist Laken Lambson makes music in her bedroom. Her new song, It Feels So Heavy, features a catchy melody and intricate electronic production. The vocals are genuine, and shine especially in the last chorus. There’s an excellent outro here as well.
The lyrics of It Feels So Heavy express the difficulty of being close to someone when suffering from mental illness. You desire a relationship with them, but don’t want them to see the mess inside you.
