Emerging Australian artist Fernandez tries to push the boundaries of pop music as much as possible. Her latest single, No Body, offers some fantastic sonic elements. You’ll hear tremelo guitar and 60’s keyboards mixed with sweeping old Hollywood strings. The vocals are striking and shine amidst a cinematic background reminiscent of Bond films from the 50s and 60s.
Fernandez stays true to herself and avoids copying others. No Body differs from any other song; it’s one-of-a-kind. Multiple listens are necessary to discover all its aspects. I find that really cool.
