The first single off Elizabeth Hume’s debut EP is Breathing. It begins very atmospherically and really brings you back to earth as the guitar plays in the background. From the moment the drums kick in, the song shifts into alt-pop territory.
The content of this EP revolves around aspects of mental health, relationships, and how personal identity fits into all of these. Breathing expresses the feeling of experiencing love and wanting to know everything about the person who gives you so much joy. They give you wings to fly.
