JVLY (pronounced “July”) is the creative work of Australian singer, songwriter, and producer Kayle Butler, who fuses R&B/Soul with indie-dance and alternative-pop. His latest single, tacit, features Una Mey, a talented Canadian artist. It’s comprised of soulful melodies and chill grooves that will have you bobbing your head while you walk down the street. A special mention must go to the vocals, which add a lot of texture to the production.
tacit explores that strange, unspoken connection between people. If you look at it directly, it’s about rekindling something, but what JVLY found most fascinating, and what he was trying to convey, was how two people could understand each other’s thoughts without ever exchanging a word.
