Atlanta-based multi-instrumentalist Bailey Crone is the artist behind Bathe Alone, a Dream Pop one-woman solo project. Her latest single, Awfully Quiet, brims with quirky sounds that make you feel as if you’re floating through space. The vocals express the lyrics clearly.
This song is about several different people, but ultimately it’s about how we see ourselves. Bathe’s emotions are on display, but she feels she comes across as more guarded than she initially though. Occasionally, we think we’re wearing our emotions on our sleeves, but our perception may differ from others’.
