Internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Rita Ora announced her eagerly awaited third album You & I (out 14th July via BMG) alongside the release of the single Praising You, which features Fatboy Slim. You’ll notice how polished the vocals are when you listen to this song. The production borrows the classic piano riff and feel-good chorus from Camille Yarbrough’s Take Yo’ Praise. I’m confident that everyone will have the time of their lives during the chorus.
In the accompanying video, directed by Academy Award winner Taika Waititi, Rita auditions alongside a group of dancers for a role of their dreams. Fatboy Slim appears as a cameo. With a nod to Spike Jonze’s Praise You video, Rita leads the troupe in a massive Studio 54-esque number complete with glamorous outfit changes and flawless choreography.
