Enemy is the newest independent single from Rotterdam-based artist Daimy Lotus. It features slamming guitars and punchy drums that help to intensify the sound. The arrangement is astounding; energizing you immediately. Daimy’s singing strikes me as heartfelt.
The lyrics of Enemy reflect meaning. They recount Daimy’s experiences with a manipulative bully who made sure the whole class hated her. This is the one girl who always cried in front of the teacher and was super mean when they didn’t watch.
Daimy continues to bring attention to topics few people openly discuss. Bullies exist everywhere, and we should stand against their foolish behavior. If we make it ‘less cool’, we might be able to decrease their reputation.
