It’s an honor to introduce you to Anaïs Lund, a singer-songwriter from New York City. She began her career performing jazz in San Diego and now records pop music. Her latest release, The Mess, presents an interesting mix of elements, including guitar-based melodies and rhythmic drum beats. The vocals are truly amazing, and they really bring the piece alive.
The Mess came to Anaïsin the middle of a period of intense anxiety, a hunger for spontaneity, and a need for poetry. It’s about the desire to be free of limitations. The lyrics “maybe I won’t measure the risk, I’ll blow my money on one-way trips, sound the alarms my dear there’s a million lives to live.” describe that feeling.
Anaïs keeps finding innovative ways to expand her creative world. Check out The Mess below!
