Keeper E. is back with Nothing Going On – a brand new track that celebrates ennui and the delayed gratification that comes with waiting for things that never seem to arrive. Its lyrics make so much sense, and will quickly capture people’s hearts. Particularly if you consider their relatable nature.
The production on this song is stunning. It’s driven by a driving beat, layered with synths, and has Keeper’s trademark shimmering soundscapes. I don’t think there’s anything better than this. Keeper shows what indie pop should sound like.
