Arthur Moon is the moniker of Lora-Faye Åshuvud, who grew up in Brooklyn. Chaos! Chaos! Chaos! Side B is the companion piece to Chaos! Chaos! Chaos! Side A.
The first song of the project, Ghost Ranch, welcomes you with intricate quirks. Particularly the section around 0:50 is notable, as the music takes on a rock vibe, moving in and out of focus. The second one, What My Name Was, has a cool, chill sound that even becomes abstract at times. O’clock Clap and Favors And Flattery are totally opposites, but feel like twins at the same time. It adds some unexpected tension to the album.
Get Back consists of drum & bass rhythms that fit the soulful production well. With Say Less, Arthur Moon aims to illuminate the atmosphere with a compelling, yet slow tempo. And guess what, it actually works. The last three tracks, It Calls, Trouble, and The Hollow, are perfect choices to end the album. They provide enough variety to keep you fascinated.
