Matteson Gregory is an Indie Pop Singer-Songwriter from Springfield, Missouri. Her latest single, Have You Seen My Friends?, has upbeat sounds that will cheer you up no matter how you feel inside. I specifically dig the chorus of the song, which reminds me a bit of Taylor Swift in terms of her style. Matteson’s voice remains steady throughout.
Have You Seen My Friends? addresses a problem most of us face as we get older: not being able to spend time with our friends. Matteson definitely experienced the not so fun situation of canceled plans and no response. In other words, she felt her friends had disappeared.
