Niklas Nesset is the Norwegian producer/singer songwriter behind ST. NIKLAS. After the success of his EP your imperfections make me even more obsessed with you, which featured songs like the P3-listed Rebels and Late Nights, he’s releasing comfy, a duet with DØSSI. It features quirky indie sounds that refuse to get repetitive and carry the sound forward gracefully. Because of how it has been structured, the chorus strikes me as appealing. I like the way the singing tries to immerse you in the song.
comfy represents the feeling that you’re in a sort of wasteland in your relationship, or in life in general, and you need to get out of it. Niklas and DØSSI lyrics are on point, and they express heartfelt sentiments. It’s really interesting to hear their thoughts about things.
