Jon-Olov Woxlin is known for his ability to surprise his audience on a regular basis. His latest project, JUNK TRUNK, contains some notable tracks. They should be on your radar. Let’s look at the project in more detail:
I’d like to start with the second track, Already There, because I really enjoyed it. It sounds great to hear the guitar swirl around the vocals. The lyrics are also rich with depth, and showcase Woxlin’s storytelling talent. You just want to know what he has to say. For Another Day is another highlight; it has a mysterious feel to it, and it remains well-balanced throughout, giving the production a smooth and seamless flow. The Blaze of the Thunder caught my attention the most, as it has a lot of complexity despite being quite mellow. Millennial Whoop ends the album gracefully, with Woxlin giving an enthralling performance, making you want more.
I can’t rave enough about this project. It’s everything we could ask for. Woxlin’s organic and heartfelt approach to recording music speaks volumes about him. He loves music, and he wants you to know that. There’s not much more iconic than this. Looking forward to seeing where Woxlin goes from here.
