For Julianna Joy, an up-and-coming pop artist, music has been especially meaningful for her and the LGBTQ community during the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout 2020, she found solace in creating songs. She spent the early months of the year working on her sophomore EP, Garden of Eden. The need to stay artistic kept her going through bouts of depression and anxiety in the face of a world crisis.
