Relay Relay’ new single, Rerun, has me hooked. Even though it’s cloudy here all day, its sound illuminates my entire room. Vibey synths and guitar blend into an osasis of excitement. The vocals, as expected, are exceptional, and they complement the backdrop remarkably well.
Rerun talks about being stuck in a loop. It’s like watching the same old episode over and over again, feeling trapped, making the same mistakes over and over again. As the entrancingly moody outro crescendos, it begs the question, “Is it too late to change it?”
