Dreamy indie-pop project, dayaway, consisting of Amber Renee and Graham Marsh, has just released their latest EP titled blue summer moon. Renee explains that the title track is inspired by an uncommon form of love – one that shines with intensity but cannot endure. Instead, it exists in dreams and alternate realities. The lyrics have a personal feel, and I find them to be well written.
With its gauzy esthetic and themes of ephemeral connections, blue summer moon provides an escape from reality. It won’t take you long to become absorbed in the duo’s shimmering, hazy world.
