Inspired by the poems of the 13th-century Persian poet Rumi, Maida Rose’s new single, Phoenix, explores themes of taking responsibility for your life and overcoming difficulties. The track features the duo’s signature dreamy sound layered with bass, guitar, keys, and percussion. The instrumentation builds gradually, paralleling the themes presented in the lyrics.
