ANOTHER NGUYEN was filming a music video when she crossed paths with a captivating person. Though brief, their interaction ignited her imagination. She found herself thinking about what might have been if circumstances were different. These thoughts swirled in her mind, ultimately becoming the foundation for Different.
The catchy song was conjured up during a songwriting session in the summer of 2022, with ANOTHER NGUYEN then taking the acoustic demo back to producer Ylva Brandtsegg in Berlin. Propelled by a driving beat and guitar melodies, the track is sonically reminiscent of artists like Anne-Marie, Julia Michaels and Griff.
