Ella Jet’s sunshine and roses tells the story of a toxic friendship through her eyes. For far too long, she put up with negative behavior and betrayal behind her back from someone she thought was a close friend. By the time the depth of this person’s cruelty came to light, Ella had been deeply hurt. sunshine and roses acknowledges how she ignored warning signs and played a role in allowing the suffering to continue.
The song is mainly driven by guitar. However, it also has other interesting musical elements that add to its appeal, such as drums. Ella’s vocals are powerful, she conveys the lyrics very well.
