Ella Lockert’s new single, Whisper all my secrets, expresses the internal struggle and emotional tug of war when you love someone who you know isn’t good for you but can’t leave. It opens with a vulnerable confession: “Every inch of you is killing me”.
Lockert’s emotional singing dominates this heartfelt track. The piano-driven melody reinforces the melancholic mood. The gradual building of instrumentation and tempo portrays determination and empowerment. However, the underlying tone remains one of introspection and sadness due to an unhealthy relationship.
