Berlin-based Emina Sonnad releases her new single, Sad Man. It portrays an emotionally immature man who seeks out empathetic women to feed his ego and scapegoat his problems out of self doubt and manipulative behavior. I’m sure we all know someone who fits this description. Therefore, the lyrics are highly relatable.
By changing the script with Sad Man, Emina steps outside of her ”sad girl” music sphere. And she succeeds in doing so.
