British singer-songwriter SAPPHIRE releases wasting my time along with her debut EP test drive. The song features easy-to-memorize pop hooks. The production sounds fresh, and some of its ideas seem very innovative. SAPPHIRE’s vocals, as well as the way they’re mixed, exceed expectations.
Aside from being so utterly relatable, wasting my time is written with such an open and honest approach. It illustrates that, despite growing up on the internet, SAPPHIRE won’t let that determine how she lives. She tries to be straightforward about anything.
