yergurl is a 21-year-old songwriter and producer who makes contemporary pop in her bedroom. She just released ripe n sweet. It’s defined by wavy beats and melodies that build up nicely. The vocals are of a different caliber, they perfectly express the lyrics.
yergurl wrote ripe n sweet on a whim in Thailand after realizing her mixtape was lacking a real bop. As the second-to-last song on the tracklist, yergurl considers it the final heartfelt plea to her lover, urging them to “come and get it” before it’s too late.
In my opinion, yergurl creates music that no one else can reproduce. It’s one-of-a-kind. Check out ripe n sweet below!
