Soft Loft represents a safe haven, an attitude, and a way of life. Their new single, Happy New Year, follows a small-town couple who embark on a journey to the big city, eyes wide with hope and hearts full of passion. Along the winding road, they lose everything they once had.
The driving rhythm and fuzzy guitar hooks of Happy New Year are amazing. Soft Loft taps into an alt-pop and rebellious energy reminiscent of Clairo and Soccer Mommy. The vocals are nicely toned, exhibiting much emotion.
