BYLAND recently released her new single, Postcard, featuring fellow Seattle musician Meagan Grandall. It evokes deep emotions with its striking piano melodies and strings. The arrangement excels on all levels. It makes you want to be somewhere else.
The final chorus is perhaps the most impactful part here. Byland’s voice melds harmoniously with Grandall’s, as if two sisters are supporting one another through life’s trials. This collaborative spirit reflects BYLAND’s appreciation for Grandall’s friendship and musical talent. She says, “Meagan is someone whose friendship fostered so much of my own growth, and whose music and voice warms and inspires me.”
