Ella Jet was born to sing. She releases her new single, fast food for breakfast. It mimics the sentimentality of a full moon through its swirling pop sounds. The vocals sound bright, but they’re also emotional in a way, so their duality works well.
The lyrics are sparked by a profound statement made by Ella’s therapist before she embarked on her journey to Nashville to pursue her dream: “we take ourselves with us”. Consequently, she transitioned into a new year, grappling with an unsettling sense of being lost and learning to navigate a solitary existence.
