Singer-songwriter Amelie No has released her new single, i want out. With its outgoing electronic rhythms and dazzling melodies, the song beckons the listener in. The chorus, accentuated by a rich tapestry of sound, consistently hits all the marks. As for the vocals, they are simply outstanding, excelling in every aspect.
The lyrics of the song are incredibly poignant. Written in the aftermath of losing two cherished friends within a day of each other in 2021, Amelia tried to rewrite the course of these heart-breaking events through her music. Even though i want out was born from a place of sorrow, it encapsulates a yearning for better days and a humble call for help beyond human capability.
