Byland continues to build excitement for her upcoming album Heavy For A While with the release of Two Circles. It has complex guitar melodies woven together. The vocals carry sincerity and seek ways to express themselves. The chorus catches you by surprise, it’s so incredibly structured.
This song reminds Jake (co-writer) of meeting another version of yourself at a bar and experiencing the kindness and curiosity that you might show to a stranger. We all know this person and many of us have been this person at some point in our lives.
