Singer-songwriter Liv Miraldi writes songs from the heart. Friend of the Family offers sincere lyrics that are more than standard. Miraldi views them as an open letter from a daughter’s perspective to an affairing parent. Even though she was afraid to say what she said, she knew she had to.
The production contrasts with the thematic content and adopts a colourful pop aesthetic. Over beautifully textured sounds, a breezy guitar flies. The vocals are perfectly coordinated, adding to its amazing quality.
