Natalie Barth isn’t quite sure how to define herself, which is okay. This only means she’s very diverse, and you can hear that through the music she makes. sick and tired! has a light drum & bass beat with up-tempo components. The vocals are anthemic, specifically during the chorus. The melodic aspects surprise you at every turn, blazing their own trail.
Barth wrote this song while struggling with her mental and physical health. She feels that life in the aftermath of the pandemic has become quite monotonous for many people, and navigating her early and now mid-20s has been much harder than she anticipated.
