Brooklyn-based shoegaze trio charms release their debut single, rudy. And what do we think about it? Well, we believe that the song sounds fascinating. Its guitars feel substantial due to to layering. The drums fill the space with texture, giving the sound more punch, especially at the end. The vocals are charming, and they suit the production quite well.
rudy talks about the complex feelings of failed love and memories that trail us around the city. These memories can come to mind when you’re walking around a spot you and your ex always visited. In that moment, you pause and reflect. It’s funny how things work sometimes.
