Canadian Alternative-Americana artist Shaela Miller’s fast-rising path is echoed in her new album After the Masquerade, which features darkwave-inspired anthem In My Dreams. It compromised of twisting melodic lines built upon eclectic grooves and flavored vocals. Musically, it’s absolutely different, especially considering there are some minor country elements mixed in.
Lyrically, this song talks about the friend Shaela lost in April 2021. She penned In My Dreams after waking up from one of the most vivid and intense dreams she had ever had. A feeling of crumbling pain flooded her soul as she awoke. This sadness led to the creation of In My Dreams. Check it out below!
