Mel Senese is an up-and-coming artist and performer from Chicago, Illinois who offers an inspired take on Pop/Rock. Melonade has some sassy vocals that totally slay, and are the anchor that keeps the boat in place. Strong instrumentation, presented by guitar and drums, raises the level of tension. And you know it can’t go wrong when you have a chorus like this.
Mel calls this song an ode to herself, while also expressing that sometimes you have to boost your own self-esteem. We think she’s right. Self-love is more important than you think. So cherish who you are. You deserve it.
