Cheska Zaide started the fierce-female Indie Pop project, Earth to Cheska. She’s in an empowerment mode on her latest single, Power. It deals with self-belief and reaching your full potential. As soon as you see how much you can accomplish alone, things become so much easier. So don’t let anyone tell you something bad, because you’re good the way you are. A warrior, a winner.
With cinematic production and dark undertones, Power sustains its urgency. We’re wonderstruck by moments such as the build-up prior to the chorus, which makes you anticipate what comes next. Oh, and the outro, wow! It’s really mind-boggling.
