We know Liz Mann best as the front woman for Leeds-based Indie band Purple Thread. However, she’s also working on her solo career. HEARTBREAK DISCO is one of the efforts that flow from it. Its pulsating rhythm and shimmering synths sound like they belong in the 80s. Moreover, experimental textures make an appearance during the bridge and last chorus, further elaborating the production.
HEARTBREAK DISCO is about the bittersweet moments we experience as lovers and as humans. In these moments, you’re enveloped in pure euphoria. Happiness literally fills your heart. Liz describes it beautifully.
